Some places you pass. Some you stay

There are places we pass through, and places where we stay. At the Trianon a table starts with a coffee, carries on with a beer and ends in a night among friends.

It sits on Rua Nicolau Chanterenne, a few steps from Praça Fausto Correia. By day it is a café, with a terrace that catches the afternoon sun. Towards evening come the draught beers and lupini beans; at night the marble counter pours cocktails.

On match days, the football is on.

A café for conversation

In 2008, the newspaper Jornal de Notícias recalled that Café Trianon was where Fausto Correia held his tertúlias, his long café gatherings. That year, the square next door was named after him.

The conversation carries on at the same tables: the morning coffee, the evening beer, the last drink of the night.

At the Trianon you can feel at home.
